I have never made a cake like this before. It was definitely was a challenge for me. What I did was cover the cakes in butter-cream frosting. Then I took the chocolate covered strawberries and stuck them to the cake with royal icing. Then to make sure that the strawberries would not fall off I pinned them to the cake. This cake was so fun and different. I thought it had a very elegant feel to it. One of my favorite parts of this cake was the toppers. What I did was make two strawberries look like a bride and groom. One was dipped in white chocolate and the other was dipped in white and brown chocolate to make it look like it was wearing a tuxedo.

She's Legal!!
This cake was for my sister's 18th birthday. She wanted something really girly and fun. So we decided to go with polka dots, stripes, and flowers! Perfect right? I loved seeing her expression when she saw the cake finished. She loved it! It was exactly what she wanted. She had an amazing day that day and I am so glad that I got the chance to help make that day perfect for her.
GO COUGARS!!
This cake was so much fun to make! It was for a girl turning sixteen, she is a cheerleader at South Fremont High School, so that was the inspiration for this cake. I made the bottom tier look like the design on the cheerleader's skirts. Then designed the top with cheer megaphones, that said GO, FIGHT, WIN. This cake was different than any other one that I had made before. I used sugar paper, and absolutely fell in love with it. It is so much fun to work with. I will definitely be using sugar paper again on cakes to come.
