Every bride wants their cake to be different than the rest.  She wants the cake to stand out and show off the personality of her and her groom.  There are many different ways to do this, by the shape of the cake, the flavor of the cake, the color of the cake, and ultimately the design of the cake.  The Bride  and I showed off their personality perfectly with the design and colors that they chose.

This cake was a square confetti cake, with chocolate filling.  The bottom tier and top tier matched, covered with purple fondant, diagonal scoring, and edible pearls where the diagonal lines met.  The middle tier was covered in smooth purple fondant. When I stacked the cake I turned each tier asymmetrically.  I then added a sky blue ribbon to the bottom of each tier, and added white roses to the corners of the cake.  For the topper on the cake I added a big, silver “D”, and then added white roses around that also to tie the topper into the rest of the cake.

This cake was perfect for this couple.  It showed off their fun, spunky, and sweet personality.
