SURPRISE!!!!

The day is finally here, a beautiful girl become a teenager! It’s such an exciting moment in life.  What a better way to celebrate it than with a cake!  This cake was kept a secret until the last moment.  Her mom called me and asked me to do it for her daughter who was turning 13.
For this cake I took white fondant and placed it around both tiers.  Then I took pink fondant and made strips going down the bottom tier and orange polka dots cover the top tier.  Then I made fondant balls that I placed where the two cakes met.  The cake was a very bright, happy, girly cake.
I love doing cakes for all different occasions.  Part of why I love it is because you never make the same cake twice.  You always have to coming up with something new and different. It is always exciting, there’s never a dull moment in the kitchen.
